Reiki Treatment

For the initial consultation, with your agreement I generally like to gather information from you on a client form, this should take between 10 -15 minutes. All data is protected under the GDPR regulations.   You can feel at ease that everything is confidential. I will also explain to you about the treatment I will perform and what you can expect from it and how it may make you feel and so on. 

If you are comfortable to do so I will ask you to lie on the therapy couch. Alternatively, if you have any medical issues Reiki can be performed in a seated position on a comfortable chair. Your comfort is key. I advise you to wear comfortable loose fitted clothing and I would recommend you remove your shoes and jewellery .

• Reiki is performed using a series of hand movements placed gently on the body. The hands can be raised above the body if you prefer.
• I like to play tranquil music in the background creating a beautiful atmosphere. If you would prefer music not to be played then that is fine too. 
• I tend not to speak whilst the treatment is in progress, however please feel free to ask any questions or if you would like me to adjust my hands or you are feeling cold or warm and would like an extra blanket or the blanket removed, please ask as this is your treatment and I want you to benefit from feeling as relaxed and comfortable as possible.  
• At the end of the treatment you may feel so relaxed that you have fallen asleep. I will gently wake you and give you time to gather your thoughts.  I will ask you about your experience as I love to hear client’s honest answers and it is also nice to compare against any future treatments. 
• I will strongly advise you to drink plenty of water over the next three days, as the Reiki treatment will still be doing its magic in cleansing you. The water will help with your purification. 
• Reminder – Reiki treatments can be offered to everyone, to help promote balance and harmony in one’s lives.
